This week was the first week back since the snow day. This week, we presented our infographics. My infographic was on the Rotavirus. We were required to research these diseases and present them to our class. I found Arianna's presentation very interesting! Her graphs were very entertaining, and she couldn’t pronounce pneumococcal. I did some extra research on pneumococcal and I discovered that it is slightly more prominent in African Americans than Caucasians, which was interesting to learn! I also enjoyed Gavin's presentation, it was very thorough. But, with absolutely no bias mine was the best
Outreach
This week, we also began planning our outreach project. My plan is to take a smaller Biomed class in the culinary lab. Since I am studying nutritional sciences, I would like to cook something for the class and explain how important proper nutrition is for everyone. However, there are still some logistics to work through. Also, we got our research papers back, and I got a 91! I’m very happy with my grade. Finally, this week, Bruno Mars dropped another single, and it has been stuck in my head.
