This week in Biomed, I worked out some logistics for My Capstone project. This project was broken into five different steps over the course of the week. We decided on our topics, came up with an outline, made our slides, and made note cards. This has been super fun for me because I am so interested in this topic. I also reached out to Janet Rich Pittman, I am waiting for an email back. I cannot wait to continue to work on this project.
I also finalized some data for my outreach project. Now, I have a date and time with Mrs. Thompson's class. I am going to lecture the 3rd-grade class on the importance of nutrition. I am also going to provide unorthodox foods for them to try. This is so exciting for me because I remember doing this when I was on the lower campus. Now, I’m going into Mardi Gras break, and this break is well needed!
