Presentations
This week in BioMed we presented our presentations on different presentation websites. My presentation website was called SlideBean. SlideBean is a cloud-based presentation software that helps businesses in IT, marketing, design, construction, and other sectors create presentations, access document templates, and more from a unified platform. Through the free trial, I was able to access many templates and differing designs for presentations. However, it was difficult to manipulate the premade templates into a style that fit the presentation style I will be giving in the spring. Therefore, I probably won’t be using it for my Capstone project. However, since I was out sick for most of the week, I was unable to see my classmate's presentations.
Telehealth
We also began to practice using telehealth aids in patient care. I was able to participate in a lab where a classmate and I worked to diagnose a patient through the use of a digital aid. This was very interesting to me because this will be the upcoming technology for my generation. It was also cool to see how a doctor can help provide care to a patient when they may not be in the same state.
