Q&A
Today Sargent Johnathan and Mr. Garside told us about their lives and some previous crashes they have investigated. Sargent Johnathan got into becoming a cop when he was a little kid. He grew up around the fire department and the police station. Ever since he was a kid, he wanted to help people. Once he graduated from college, he went on to work in the mobile precincts. Until March 2020 when he was promoted to Sargent.
My favorite story that they told us was about a case that Mr. Garside worked on back in 2015. It was a pedestrian hit and run and they had been working it for 8 days straight. They finally had the suspect in custody and he was refusing to confess, however he had not called for a lawyer. Mr. Garside was one of their lead interrogators and they asked him to try and talk to him. He jokingly told his friends that he would Jedi mind trick the suspect into telling him everything. So, he walked in, waved his hand, and said "you will tell me everything." The suspect then went on to tell him everything he did and more, incriminating himself in more crimes than they knew about.
